Net profit of Gillette India declined 51.18% to Rs 18.61 crore in the quarter ended June 2010 as against Rs 38.12 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2009. Sales rose 36.67% to Rs 251.53 crore in the quarter ended June 2010 as against Rs 184.04 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2009.
For the audited full year, net profit rose 21.19% to Rs 137.10 crore in the year ended June 2010 as against Rs 113.13 crore during the previous year ended June 2009. Sales rose 28.87% to Rs 852.48 crore in the year ended June 2010 as against Rs 661.51 crore during the previous year ended June 2009.
