Markets bounce back
After Monday?s sharp fall, Indian markets closed higher on Tuesday as the Nifty managed to hold above the 5020-5000 levels.
The Nifty June Fut closed 55.5pts or 1.1% higher at 5,114.3. The Nifty June Fut premium expanded to 10.45pts from 1.75pts in the previous session. Total turnover in the F&O segment was Rs.1,52,483crs. Vs. Rs.1,91,593crs. in the previous session.
The biggest gainers in the F&O segment were HPCL, GVKPIL, Financial tech, JSW Ispat and NCC. The biggest losers were OnMobile, Godrej ind, Tata comm., Apollo Tyre and Sesa Goa.
