Markets consolidated near the strong overhead resistance
Nifty closed today slightly lower around 5362.95 by loosing around 17 points in today's session. After opening on a Flat note, Nifty shifted in to consolidation with the slight weak biasand witnessed minor profit booking during afternoon to close with the modest loss.
The Nifty Aug Fut finally closed -26 pts or -0.47% lower at 5381.50. The Nifty Aug Fut premium shrinked to 19.95 pts from 26.50 pts of the previous session. The biggest gainers in the F&O segment were JSW Ispat, IDFC, DeltaCorp, ABirlaNuvo & Tech Mah. The biggest losers were Jain Irrigation, Jet Airways, Dabur, ITC & Lupin.
