Gujarat Gas Company entered into agreement On 27 December 2012 Gujarat Gas Company has announced on 27 December 2012 that it has entered into an agreement with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for the purchase of re-gasified LNG (RLNG) volumes of up to 1.1 mmscmd for the period from 01 January 2013 to 31 January 2013 on a firm basis.

Gujarat Gas Company receives approval for City Gas Distribution in Surat- Bharuch-Ankleshwar Gujarat Gas Company has announced that on 08 November 2012, the company has been granted Authorisation under Regulation 18(1) of the PNGRB (Authorising Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulation, 2008 by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board ("PNGRB") for Surat-Bharuch-Ankleshwar Geographical Areas City Gas Distribution Network in the State of Gujarat. The authorised area shall cover an area of 8979 square kilometres. As per the provisions of the PNGRB (Exclusivity for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulation, 2008, GGCL has also been granted 25 years infrastructure exclusively up to 31March 2014. It has also been granted three years exemption from the purview of common carrier or contract carrier (marketing exclusively) for the CGD network from the date of authorisation, i.e. 08 November 2012 to 07 November 2015 during which period the project milestones as determined by the PNGRB relate to PNG domestic connections, steel pipeline laying and compression capacity addition.

Gujarat Gas Company executes fully termed GSTC contract with Gail India Gujarat Gas Company has executed a fully termed gas sales and transportation contract (GSTC) with GAIL (India) for the purchase of gas from the Panna-Mukta and Tapti (PMT) fields. The GSTC supersedes the previously executed term sheet dated 31 March 2008 pursuant to which PMT gas has been sold to GGCL to date. The GSTC will now constitute the entire agreement between the parties in respect of the sale, purchase and transportation of PMT gas up to 2.13 mmscmd depending on the production from the PMT fields.

Gujarat Gas enters into an agreement with BG India Energy Solution Gujarat Gas Company has entered into an agreement with BG India Energy Solutions (BGIESPL) for the purchase on a firm basis of re-gasified LNG (RLNG). 0.7 mmscmd for the period from 01 April 2011 to 30 June 2011 and 1.0 mmscmd for the period from 01 July 2011 to 31 December 2011. The agreement is expected to make available higher quantities of RLNG to maintain supplies to the company`s markets. The volumes from this agreement will also backfill the reduction in quantity under the existing 39 months firm RLNG contract with BGIESPL, from 0.5 mmscmd to 0.2 mmscmd with effect from 01 July 2011 in accordance with the contractual terms therein. The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 21 March 2011.
