Deepak Jasani heads the Retail Research team at HDFC securities, where he guides the team in equity & equity derivatives and fixed income. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Deepak has a broad-based domain expertise of more than sixteen years in capital markets. Deepak brings remarkable insights across multiple verticals in the capital markets. With hands-on involvement in research and strategy in equity, derivatives, debt and mutual fund markets and a sound background in accounting, direct taxes and financial & regulatory laws, he guides the team with a deep level of understanding of drivers that impact moves in the capital markets. Prior to HDFC securities, Deepak was the Head of Equity Research at Kaji & Maulik Securities Pvt. Ltd.

Unmesh has a rich experience of over 17 years in the field of Capital Markets. At HDFC Securities, he heads the Institutional Equities Business. He has worked across the Capital Markets verticals. He was a top-rated Research analyst in Real Estate, Telecom and Consumer sectors, covered India and Asia based clients in Sales and Sales and headed the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate prior to HDFC Securities. This was across leading brands such as Macquarie Capital, BofA- Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. Unmesh holds a CFA Charter, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and an Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai.

Varun Lohchab is currently heading Institutional Research at HDFC Securities. He has a total work experience of 18 years in Indian Equity markets across leading buy side and sell side firms such as Fidelity, Franklin Templeton and Jefferies. Varun has covered multiple sectors and is a Starmine rated analyst in consumer sector. Varun holds a PGDM from IIM Calcutta and Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.

Alok is the Head of Products and joins HDFC Securities after 13+ years of cumulative work experience in the BFSI domain. He is an experienced product management professional with a demonstrated history of conceptualizing, developing, and running stock brokerage products for offline and digital channels. At HDFC Securities, he is primarily responsible for overall product strategy, which includes prioritization and communication to stakeholders about their business goals, product management, strategic planning, and building a sustainable trading products and wealth marketplace to cater to the retail and High-net-worth (HNI) segment. He has expertise in Derivatives Trading, UI/UX Journey, Algorithmic Trading, HFTs and proprietary trading such as Arbitrage, pair trading, Exotic derivative models etc. Alok holds a Computer Science degree, as well as a PG Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC-ACTS and a Post Graduate degree from IIM Kozhikode. He has been a guest speaker at multiple conferences as well as at premier institutions like IIM Kozhikode, IIM Kashipur, NTPC Business School, and Trader Carnivals, educating aspirants that are looking to make a mark in the BFSI industry.
