Introducing Individual API for InvestRight Clients


In the fast-paced world of trading, having access to the right tools can make all the difference. To help our clients stay ahead, we are excited to introduce the Individual API for InvestRight. This powerful tool is designed to provide seamless and efficient API access to trading functionalities, enabling a smoother and more flexible trading experience for our individual clients.

What is the Individual API?

The Individual API is a cutting-edge solution that allows InvestRight to offer electronic order placement capabilities to individual clients. Whether you are a seasoned trader or a new investor, the Individual API provides the flexibility and convenience of personalized trading tools or custom-built applications tailored to your specific needs.

 

Steps to Create API Credentials of Individual API:

1. Visit: https://developer.hdfcsec.com/

 


2. Click on Login and enter your InvestRight login credentials.


 

3. Enter the 6-digit OTP.

 

 
 
4. Accept the "Risk Disclosures on Derivatives Disclaimer."
 

5. Click on Create App.

 

6. Fill in the required details and click on Create

  • App Name: Choose a name for your app (you can create up to 10 apps).
  • Redirection URL: Enter the URL of the platform where you wish to use API keys
  • Description: Add a description for your reference.
 

7. App Page.

Once created, the app will be visible on your dashboard, showing details like App Name, Created Date, Description, API Key, and API Secret, along with an edit option.

To view the hidden key, click on the eye icon. You can copy the key by clicking the Copy button.

 

By clicking the edit icon on the app card, you can:

  • Regenerate your API Key & API Secret
  • Pause the app
  • Edit the app name, description, and redirection URL
  • Delete the app
