HDFC securities is actively involved with organisations dedicated to serving our communities in areas relating to health & sanitation, promotion of education, providing scholarships to underprivileged children, setting up digital classrooms, renovation-operation-painting of schools, and preventive & curative healthcare. The activities are undertaken in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
Isha Vidhya

Isha Vidhya, the rural schools have been started in villages under the umbrella of Isha Education established in 2005. Through this project, HDFC securities helps in providing high quality school education to underprivileged rural children. There are a total of 9 rural schools in the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Nagercoil, Tuticorin, Villupuram, Salem, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri & Chittoor. Isha Vidhya educational system, nurtures children’s development beyond just academics and provides various activity/program based learning tools.
Here underprivileged rural children gets access to affordable and high quality school education through scholarship, digital classrooms, laptops and computers. This initiative offers scholarship for 400 underprivileged rural children, 8 digital classrooms, 30 laptops for each education coordinator and 40 computers (5 for each school) across 8 Isha Vidhya schools.
Yuva Unstoppable - Water & Sanitation
“Water = Life, Conservation = Future”
YUVA Unstoppable is a youth movement with the mission to inspire and mobilize every Indian to give 2 hours/week for better India. YUVA has mobilized young people through their movements like ‘Evolution’, ‘True Hero’ and ‘Amitabh Unstoppable’.
The project sponsored by HDFC securities aims at providing 20 litres of water each day through installation of RO+UV plants in 10 villages of Gujarat. It also ensures appropriate sanitation, water and infrastructure in government schools.
The beneficiary villages are Panmol, Jamiyatpura, Dela, Chattral, Dingucha, Dagavadiya, Kudasan Prathmik, Dholasan, Kaiyal and Bamosana.

Swades Foundation
“Charity sees the need, not the cause”
Swades Foundation is founded by Ronnie and Zarina Screwvala and focuses on empowering rural India. In tandem with HDFC securities, Swades undertook water and sanitation program for 840 households in Raigad, Maharashtra providing 200 litres of potable water every day to each household along with creating sanitation blocks to make villages open defecation free.
The mission of the organization is to empower 1 million rural Indians every 5 years, creating a permanent, irreversible change for good.
840 households in Raigad benefitted from the project.
Swades undertook Water and Sanitation project in 840 households of Raigad by:
• Providing 200 litres/day potable tap water to 840 household
• Creating sanitation blocks in 840 households to make villages ‘Open Defecation Free’
